Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Churchverse (churchverse.app) you agree to these terms. If you use Churchverse on behalf of a church, you confirm you are authorized to act for it, and these terms bind the church as well.

2. The service

Churchverse provides tools for managing a church community: member directories, attendance, meetings and events, statistics, caretaking notes, registration forms, and communication helpers. Features may change as the product improves.

3. Accounts

• Accounts are personal. Each servant needs their own account; sharing one account across people is not permitted, and a per-account device limit is enforced.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for activity under your account.
• Church owners and administrators control who can access their community's data and are responsible for granting access appropriately.

4. Your data

The church owns its community data. Churchverse only stores and processes it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Administrators are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the records they keep, including obtaining any consent their community members' data requires.

5. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, harmful, or abusive use, and no harassment of community members.
• No attempts to break, probe, or overload the service, or to access another community's data.
• No scraping or reselling of data obtained through the service.

6. Plans and billing

Churchverse offers free and paid plans with different limits. Plan limits (such as people, meetings, and staff seats) are enforced by the service and may evolve; material changes to paid plans will be communicated in advance.

7. Availability and warranty

We work to keep Churchverse fast and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Churchverse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Churches can request export or deletion of their data at termination.
